Terai Hiroki is a prosecutor at the Yokohama Public Prosecutors' Office. He is married and and has a elementary school aged son. His son is often truant and Terai Hiroki worries his son might shut himself off from the outside world.
Meanwhile, Kiryu Natsuki is a contract worker at a Hiroshima shopping mall. She has a peculiar habit and keeps it a secret. Her secret is that she wants to disconnect from the outside world. Due to the accidental death of a person, Terai Hiroki and Kiryu Natsuki become connected with each other.
