The coming-of-age story of Erica Clements, whose blessed life is turned upside down by her mother's sudden death and her father's depression, which leaves them financially destitute. At rock bottom, Erica sets out to steal her life back in a series of comically chaotic events involving a much-loved unicorn paddle-boat.
