Synopsis

À Los Angeles, le numéro d'appel d'urgence 911 est sollicité plusieurs fois par jours. En plus des standardistes, plusieurs corps de métier sont liés : les pompiers, les policiers et les secouristes paramédic. Tous sont constamment mis sous pression et confrontés chaque jour à des situations inédites. Tout en étant au secours des personnes en danger, ils doivent également gérer leurs problèmes personnels.
