A Short Stay in Switzerland

The movie is based on the true story of Dr. Anne Turner (25 January 1939 – 24 January 2006) who after suffering from the incurable Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP, also called ‘Steele-Richardson-Olszewski Syndrome’), travelled to Zurich for an assisted suicide by an organization called Dignitas. This came four years after her husband died of a similar rare incurable condition, Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). (Source : IMDB)
