It is the third title in the Touch Detective (Osawari Tantei: Ozawa Rina) series, after Touch Detective and Touch Detective 2 ½. The features Mackenzie returning to the main character role as she faces a new detective rival,and once again takes her arch-rival, the Cornstalker.
