Cette version DX est très proche de la version Plus (version de la PS Vita), elle ajoute principalement la possibilité de sprinter et d'avancer rapidement dans les batailles, ainsi que d'inclure les costumes de précommande des versions précédentes dans le jeu de base.
Le jeu comprend deux nouveaux événements (à l'origine exclusifs à la version japonaise Plus) qui se connectent avec l'année supplémentaire dans Atelier Rorona Plus. Ces scènes, intitulées "Neo-Prologue - Future Potential" et "Neo-Finale - Goodbye for Now", se déroulent respectivement avant et après cette année supplémentaire. Ils peuvent être visionnés à tout moment dans la galerie de films à l'intérieur de la fonction "Extra" du menu principal. Ils sont présentés avec l'audio japonais uniquement dans toutes les versions. De plus, le générique de fin contient une scène teasant Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland.
