Nine years after a certain past incident, Koo Seung Hyeok and Kwon I Hyeon reunite by chance at Nexus, a nightclub tied to an underground crime syndicate. Seung Hyeok now holds power as the club’s manager, while I Hyeon survives as expendable labor. Their reunion is anything but neutral. I Hyeon keeps his distance, but Seung Hyeok confronts him with open hostility, dredging up unresolved resentment that costs I Hyeon his job and reopens wounds neither of them truly healed.
When I Hyeon’s estranged father is diagnosed with cancer, desperation pulls him back into Seung Hyeok’s orbit. Instead of demanding repayment, Seung Hyeok offers a deal that binds them through work and debt. Forced into close proximity, contempt slowly blurs with fixation, and emotions Seung Hyeok calls hatred begin to feel dangerously unstable.
A gay man shaped by rejection and survival, and a violently homophobic man trapped in denial, they are pushed to confront the past they tried to erase. As tensions rise and truths resurface, they must decide whether to keep hurting each other or face a future neither of them ever planned to share.
