Strong women, weak men. That's what I took from this. Every woman in this episode had more mustard than any of the men. From Celia with her belief and convictions, and you know she got out of that cellar unscathed, to Madison for locking Celia up in the first place. I like how Alicia didn't even call out for her brother in the end and just watched him as they drove off. Either she knows he'll be safe or she just accepted that he's the same addict that was lost to them in season one.
Travis remains the densest character of the bunch. It took his son holding a child hostage and trying to knife him to realize just where he went wrong as a parent. Let that be a lesson to fathers and brothers. It's not camp or creepy to hug your sons and siblings once in a while because if not some do tend go crazy and attack pretty white girls and children.
What I get from FTWD as with TWD is that the protagonists are the biggest threat to anyone they encounter and there really are no heroes, just a bunch of assholes learning to survive by being less shitty to each other. I mean it's good it's just getting a bit old.

Really... I mean Oliver was literally like. "Come on everyone this city goes to shit every year and usually survives. What are we worried about." and then the city was like "Good point, now lets engage in a street brawl with assassins."
Also a better question would be why the Ghosts who up until now have never been seen without automatic weapons went into that street brawl with nothing but their fists.
I'm all for symbolism and everything, it's important to a story but Oliver literally defeated Darkh with the "Power of Hope". That is weak story telling and really pathetic for what is supposed to be the darkest of the CW's superhero shows.
If I'm being honest Arrow started to die after Oliver made a promise to stop killing. It ran on fumes for a very excellent season 2 but after that the writers started putting the Arrow into

So The Flash has already decided that time travel does whatever they want it to. In "Flashback" he fights a future version of himself, reveals to Iobar Thawn that he knows his secret and prevents Pied Piper from using his earbuds to escape, and the only thing that changes is that Pied Piper is no longer evil. But if The Flash does save his mom, it would only change back into the future that was already supposed to happen before Reverse Flash screwed it all up. Barry Allen was still the Flash in the future, he's married to Iris but Queen Inc. and Wayne Tech are supposed to merge in 2024 so is Oliver Queen now a savvy businessman? But like I said, since it's whatever they wan it to be, it doesn't necessarily change the other shows. Legends of Tomorrow could always throw in some line about "alternate timelines" or it's the MULTIVERSE which is a DC staple. I'll be okay if this was just to gloss over some things like Barry and Iris dating, or making Wally West "Kid Flash". What I don't want is if this actually changes a lot, then two seasons of show were only for Grant Gustin character development? So I am actually leaning towards his mom being alive not really changing anything except certain people would likely still be alive like Harrison Wells, his wife, Eddie and possibly Ronny, the real other half of Firestorm.
