Qui appelle-t-on quand on a besoin d'une pizza pepperoni ? Les Samurai Pizza Cats bien sûr ! Mais pas seulement dans ce cas...
Avec Yattarô, leur chef, ils chassent le crime de Edoropolis. La troupe se compose également de Pururun la bagarreuse et de Sukashii le romantique. Inuyama Wanko-no-Kami, le chef de la garde du palais, est celui qui leur assigne les missions dans une ville dont le crime est commandité par le premier ministre en personne : Kitsunezuka Ko'on-no-Kami !
En effet, le Shogun Tokugawa Iei Iei a perdu la raison laisse donc sa fille Usako bien seule pour régler les affaires courantes de la ville...
